End the Epidemics – Los Angeles Town Hall

On August 2nd, 2019, End the Epidemics hosted its first Town Hall at the Mark Ridley-Thomas Constituent Service and Training Center in Los Angeles, CA. The Town Hall featured:

• Keynote address by Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson (D-Carson)
• An overview of End the Epidemics by Craig Pulsipher (APLA Health) and Anne Donnelly (San Francisco AIDS Foundation) on the statewide strategy to end HIV, HCV, and STD epidemics in California
• A panel discussion featuring Mario Perez (Los Angeles County Division of HIV and STD Programs), Raniyah Copeland (Black AIDS Institute), Brian Risley (APLA Health), and Richard Zaldivar (The Wall Las Memorias Project)

The event was attended by approximately 80 service providers, stakeholders, representatives of nonprofit organizations, and members of the public.
