END THE EPIDEMICS: Californians Mobilizing to End HIV, HCV, and STDs is a statewide coalition of community-based organizations and health departments committed to ending the epidemics of HIV, hepatitis C (HCV), and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in California. The coalition advocates for effective policy and appropriate funding levels for HIV, HCV, and STD programs and services, increased  involvement of impacted communities in statewide efforts to address these epidemics, and greater strategic collaboration across state departments that serve people living with and vulnerable to these conditions. The coalition also recognizes the key role of social determinants on communities impacted by HIV, HCV, and STDs and advocates for effective policy solutions to address them.

The Fresno County End the Epidemics Town Hall will provide information about End the Epidemics and how to get involved in the coalition. There will also be an opportunity to give input to the project and discuss how a statewide End the Epidemics strategy could augment local efforts to address the epidemics. Speakers will include elected representatives, public health officials, and community experts.
