Thank you for joining us for a strategic community discussion about advancing efforts to address HIV, HCV, and STDs both during and after the COVID-19 crisis The COVID-19 pandemic has led to major disruptions in California’s efforts to address HIV, hepatitis C (HCV), and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). While efforts to address COVID-19 are paramount to the lives of all Californians, we must not lose sight of our shared goal to eliminate health inequities and ultimately end these intersecting epidemics. The California HIV/AIDS Policy Research Centers (CHPRC) hosted a strategic community discussion to identify next steps for advancing a policy response to the HIV, HCV, and STD syndemic given the impact of COVID-19. This meeting focused specifically on challenges and opportunities related to prevention, testing, linkage to care, and treatment for these conditions. Advocates, researchers, public health officials, and service providers were encouraged to attend.
